I’m borderline anaemic. It’s official. Not categorically so, because that’d be too simple.
It’s frustrating. I know I’m vegetarian, and that I have to watch my iron intake, so I do. I have pretty much a model diet for a vegetarian. So why am I not absorbing the damn iron?
I’ve started taking a herbal iron tonic today, to add the the kombucha, the sea kelp, the rescue remedy and manuka that I already take to boost my various systems.
Man, my body is high-fucking-maintenance.
Spinach, beetroot and folic acid…that’s how I dealt with it…and my levels were really bad :x
